Mission
To serve as a resource for Sacred Heart parishioners who are or who are seeking to be business owners to start, promote and grow their businesses. To own and operate successful Sacred Heart not for profit businesses for the benefit of the community.

Vision
People will be able to better care for themselves by receiving assistance generated through the business endeavors of the Economic Development Commission.

Objective
To work in service to the community—namely the poor and the disenfranchised—through business development and growth.

Guiding Principles
We, the members of the Sacred Heart Economic Development Commission are guided by the following fundamental beliefs:

We believe that all people should be equipped with the tools necessary to create opportunities for themselves, solidifying their ability to care for themselves, their families and live an abundant life now and for generations to come.

God’s blessings are meant to be shared, for a blessing is not truly a blessing until it is blesses someone else.

“What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister has nothing to wear and has no food for the day, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well,” but you do not give them the necessities of the body, what good is it? So also faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” (James 2:14-17)
